3 ways to donate to support local people experiencing mental health problems:
• Recycle your unwanted items – Items must be in a saleable condition, and can be dropped off at the shop between Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm. All soft furnishings require a fire label to conform with trading standards.
Items too heavy or large donations – look no further, we’ll collect from Thurrock, Brentwood and Basildon.
Contact: Shopcollections@thurrockmind.org.uk or 01375 372129.
• Gift Aid – If you are a UK tax payer, turn every £1 of your donated items into £1.25. It’s free to sign up – gift aid declaration form or ask in store for more information.
All proceeds benefit Thurrock residents who experience emotional and mental health problems.
Why not join our friendly team at the heart of your community? This could help you to meet new people, become more aware of what’s on in your community, develop new skills or interests and could help you find employment.
No experience necessary as full training will be provided. Find out more on volunteering.
